Next year will witness the celebration of Naba Sigri Bewong, the Paramount Chief of Sakot Traditional Area. As a chief, he has made a tremendous impact on the lives of his subjects. Some of these are known while others are not. By putting these down, we ensure that posterity come to learn from the rich tradition of Nabrug. This edited volume is meant to be a gift from the intellectuals of Nabrug and so would be presented to him next year. It is also meant to codify some cultural information for the intellectual world outside the Nabt populace. This call for articles is therefore a way to encourage all intellectuals of Nabt affiliation to write on issues related to our cultural heritage. These articles would be collected and published in a book.

Articles may be written on but not limited to the following areas:

B.    Topics related to the Sakot Paramountcy
Chieftaincy Institution: its history, ceremony of enskinment, Sub-chiefs

Marriage, Funerals and Poverty, Names/naming Ceremonies, Education, Entertainment
